Past Presidents Letters
Throughout its history the South Florida Banking Institute has had the great fortune of having the leadership and vision of many distinguished presidents. Below are the various messages conveyed by each during their respective terms.
Wilfredo B. Jauregui
Fellow South Florida Bankers,
It is with great pride that I have accepted to carry the title of President for the South Florida Banking Institute for 2002-2003. With this title comes great responsibility, however I know that with the absolute support of the officers and directors, as well as the knowledge that has been passed down to me by my predecessors, I will have a successful presidency, and the South Florida Banking Institute will continue to be a vital resource to our industry.
It will be a challenging year, but one that I look forward to. We will be striving to maintain SFBI as an organization of value to our members. We intend to accomplish this by adhering to the pledge made in our mission statement:
“To continue to be the premier resource for bankers seeking to expand their knowledge and capabilities by providing relevant high-quality research, products and services.”
In order for this to be achieved SFBI will be offering programs of substance covering a wide range of topics that will benefit all areas within our trade, with speakers of the utmost proficiencies. I look forward to your continued support and interest in our organization.
Respectfully,
Wilfredo B. Jauregui
