Alexander Sueiro, Shareholder

Alexander Sueiro is a founding member of PAAST, P.L. He has over 25 years of experience providing assurance, business consulting, and forensic accounting and litigation support services to a diverse client base in a variety of industries.

Alex specializes in internal and external audits, and reviews of financial institutions. He has managed a variety of engagements, including loan portfolio reviews, bank-wide risk assessments, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering audits, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act audits, compliance audits, and information technology audits. In addition, he has experience testing beta versions of bank software programs.

Alex is an adjunct accounting professor at Florida International University (FIU). He has lectured at the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) Miami Dade Chapter, the Association of Cuban Accountants in Exile, University of Miami, and FIU. Regarded as an expert in his field, he is frequently invited to speak to certified public accountants (CPA) and banking professionals on topics such as external and internal audits, as well as other operational reviews.

Alex stays current with topics relating to public accounting and financial institutions by frequently attending local, state and national training seminars and conferences provided by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Managers Society; Office of the Comptroller of the Currency; Florida Bankers Association; Florida International Bankers Association; South Florida Banking Institute; and Certified Fraud Examiners. He also participates in the annual Deposit and Lending Compliance Seminar hosted by PAAST.

Ms. Jenna Rinehart Rassif is managing principal of the Miami, Florida, office of Jackson Lewis P.C. Certified by the Florida Bar in Labor and Employment law since 2001, Jenna has extensive experience representing employers in virtually all areas of labor and employment law. Jenna has significant jury and bench trial experience in employment and restrictive covenant cases and is a frequent lecturer on employment law issues. Jenna practices before federal and state courts as well as administrative agencies throughout the United States. Prior to joining Jackson Lewis, Jenna was a labor and employment principal with a national law firm headquartered in Miami, Florida.

Anthony C. Hood
EVP, Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer, First Horizon Bank

Dr. Anthony C. Hood serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer for First Horizon Bank. In this role, he leads the development and execution of firm-wide strategy for embedding DEI into the DNA of the organization.

He previously served as the Director of Civic Innovation in the Office of the President at UAB as well as an Associate Professor of Management in the Collat School of Business at UAB.

An electrical engineer by training, Dr. Hood enjoyed a 10 year career with BellSouth and AT&T supporting startup telecom companies in the firm’s wholesale division. He was honored with the Pinnacle Award, the company’s highest honor for productivity and leadership.

He left AT&T to pursue his PhD full time at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!). Since completing his PhD in only 3 years, he has completed studies at the Harvard Business School, Stanford and the Morehouse School of Medicine.

Dr. Hood received his undergrad and MBA from UAB (Go Blazers!). In 2019, Dr. Hood was honored by the UAB Alumni Association with the prestigious Distinguished Alumni Award.

Dr. Hood is a board member of a number of organizations including the Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, Birmingham Education Foundation, Urban Impact, the Woodlawn Foundation and the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District.

A social entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Hood has received a number of awards for his community-based efforts including the Power of Leadership Award from Alabama Power Company, the Community Game Changer award from the Vulcans Community Awards, and the Dr. A.G. Gaston Award from the A.G. Gaston Business Institute.

Damian Pardo
Chair, 4Ward Miami

Damian has worked in the financial services industry for the last 30 years.  He is the current Board Chair of 4Ward Miami, an organization that specializes in working with diverse South Florida communities.

Damian was raised in Miami, attended Belen Jesuit, Georgetown School of Foreign Service and the University of Miami. He has broad community experience having founded organizations (SAVE, 4Ward Miami/Gay8 Festival) and served on some key Boards over the years (Miami Foundation/Vizcaya/Miami-Dade County/City of Miami).
