Dr. Hernan Londono
Associate Vice President for Technology and CTO, Barry University

Dr. Hernan Londono is Associate Vice-President for Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Barry University. In this capacity, Dr. Londono is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of technology systems and services in support of academic and administrative functions. Dr. Londono is a veteran of the IT profession now in his 20th year in the industry. Dr. Londono’s IT experience over the past two decades spans across tactical and strategic tasks in major areas of Information Technology such as, telecommunications and networks, datacenter operations, software development, and cybersecurity. Dr. Londono’s academic qualifications include being a Barry University Alumn class of 2000 and 2003, with a BS in Computer Science, and MS in Information Technology respectively. Dr. Londono earned his PhD in Computer Science from Nova Southeastern University in 2013; he conducted research in the area of Software Engineering, specifically on the Evolvability of Aspect Oriented Software. Amongst his many accomplishments, Dr. Londono has presented in numerous national Information Technology professional conferences, and has been quoted and interviewed by a number of Information Technology news organizations, and trade publications such as Campus Technology, University Business, and ZDnet on a topics ranging from dual-mode fixed mobile convergence, to detecting and preventing network cyberattacks amongst others. Dr. Londono’s successful career, accomplishments, and contributions have been recognized in multiple occasions and as such, he has served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the South Florida Digital Alliance (SFDA), as well has being in the advisory board of Silicon Valley cybersecurity companies such as Cyphort, Vectra, and SANS – Securing the Human. Dr. Londono’s recent honors and awards include being the recipient of Barry University’s Visionary Award of Excellence 2014, and the 2016 South Florida Digital Alliance’s – Digital Advancement and Excellence Award for Education.

Mauricio Angee
Chief Information Security Officer, Mount Sinai Medical Center

Mauricio Angée is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with over 25 years of experience in healthcare, banking and financial
services, hospitality, entertainment, and the government sector, with a strong background in security, information assurance, privacy, regulatory
compliance, and operational risk management.

Mauricio currently is a professor at the Steven J. Green School of International and Public Affairs at Florida International University (FIU). Mauricio served as Vice President of Information Security at Mercantil Bank where he is responsible for setting the roadmap and strategy for the protection of information assets and patient information. Prior to Mercantil Bank he served as Chief Information Security Officer at Universal Orlando Parks and Resorts (Universal Studios Florida).He also served as Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) at Harris Corporation supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI), and the US Census Bureau. In his ISSO role, he successfully coordinated the security certification and accreditation activities, and developed the incident response capabilities. Mr. Angée was the Computer Security Official (CSO) for Northrop-Grumman at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) at the Kennedy Space Center, FL., where he supported the Kennedy Integrated Communications Services (KICS) contract.

Mauricio currently serves in the Board of Directors, and as the Financial Sector Chief, at the FBIInfragard information sharing group of South Florida, and is a member of the US Secret Service Miami Electronic Crimes Task Force. Mauricio is also the Chair of the Board of the South Florida
CISO Forum, and is one of the most influential security professionals in his field. With his leadership skills and extensive experience, he has made significant contributions to the information security community. He was nominated for the CISO of the Year Award by the EC Council in 2013.

Mauricio is currently a Doctorate candidate in Information Security at St. Thomas University. He received his Master’s degree in Computer and Information Science with concentration in Information Security from Nova Southeastern University.

Mike Sanchez
Chief Information Security Officer, United Data Technologies

Mike is UDT’s Chief Information Security Officer and oversees the company’s product lifecycle for its global Cyber Security initiatives to include portfolio strategy, pricing and go-to-market strategies. He has more than 20 years of experience developing and implementing emerging technology and cyber security product and service offerings in several industries, including financial, information technologies and electronic payments. Prior to joining UDT, he served as President and Chief Operations Officer for a Visa Subsidiary where he led the company’s global cyber security initiatives for commercial and federal markets. During his tenure, the company experienced a 15% CAGR on revenue growth between 2014 and 2016. Mike also pioneered the development and successful launch of the company’s online learning management system related to cyber security

Mike also served as President of Transworld Payment Solutions Inc., where he oversaw the company’s successful development and launch of its proprietary online international ebanking and electronic payment processing platforms. The platform’s capabilities provided cross border electronic payment processing, online banking technology and services to global financial institutions and merchants. Mike successfully grew the company from startup to approximately $30 million dollars in annualized revenue and positive EBITDA of $1.5 million within a 32-month time period. In conjunction with Visa Latin America’s division, successfully introduced a cobranded debit card mechanism serving online and physical platforms using Visa Electron.

Prior to TWPS, Mike worked with VISA INTERNATIONAL (Miami, Florida) as Sr. Vice President in their emerging technologies division and also had responsibilities for Mergers & Acquisitions. He oversaw the development and launch of several key Visa International initiatives to include online home banking, eCommerce and Chip technology products throughout the Latin America and Caribbean region. During his tenure with Visa, Mike oversaw a team of Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Microsoft personnel which developed the internet’s first use of secured payment gateway technologies referred to as Secured Electronic Transaction (SET).

Mike is a retired Captain of the United States Marine Corps where he served as an infantry officer with 1st Force Recon out of Camp Pendleton, California. Mike attended the University of Miami where he attained his Juris Doctor and Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering.

His professional security certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA and COBIT 5.0.

John L. Corina
MBA, CPA, CISA Bank Information Technology Examiner OCC

John Corina is a Bank Examiner (BIT) with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency out of the Miami Field Office. With over 25 years IT examining and auditing in banking, public accounting and industry, John’s area of focus includes IT governance, cybersecurity, core and network security, third-party risk, business resilience, development, and payment systems risk. John leads the BIT exams of local community banks and regularly travels to assist in mid-size and large bank examinations.
