Alexander Sueiro is a founding partner of PAAST, P.L., an accounting firm in Coral Gables, Florida, with over 25 years of experience in assurance, business consulting, and forensic accounting. He specializes in financial institution audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews, including BSA/AML audits and IT audits. Alex is also an adjunct accounting professor at Florida International University and a frequent speaker at industry events. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Accounting and an MBA from Florida International University. Prior to co-founding PAAST, he was a senior manager at a regional accounting firm, leading its financial institution practice.

Jessica Goldberg has over 22 years of experience in the banking industry, specifically in Human Resources. Ms. Goldberg is currently a Senior Vice President and Human Resources Director at U.S. Century Bank, a publicly traded (Nasdaq: USCB) community bank headquartered in Doral with approximately 200 employees and 10 banking centers serving South Florida. Ms. Goldberg specializes in the management of human resources activities for the bank such as recruitment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, policy development and oversight.  Ms. Goldberg serves on the Board for the South Florida Banking Institute and the Center for Financial Training.  Previously, she served on the Board of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Miami-Dade.  She is also the co-founder of a local Human Resources networking group, Human Resources Banking Partners.

Shaun Zak Moraga is a seasoned Cybersecurity and Risk Management Leader with over a decade of experience guiding organizations in building secure, resilient infrastructures. His expertise spans developing and executing cybersecurity programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting risk assessments, and driving strategic planning across industries such as finance, government, and education.

Previously, Shaun served as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), where he was responsible for overseeing cybersecurity strategy, regulatory adherence, and risk management in a highly regulated financial environment. His leadership helped strengthen cyber resilience, fraud prevention, and digital transformation efforts within the institution. Before that, Shaun worked as an IT and Cybersecurity Auditor, evaluating security postures, identifying vulnerabilities, and ensuring organizations met compliance standards. His auditing background gives him a deep understanding of risk from both an operational and regulatory perspective, allowing him to bridge gaps between security teams and executive leadership.

Lourdes Mendes is an accomplished financial services professional with over 30 years of experience in banking, business development, sales management, and treasury management. Currently serving as a Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager at Cadence Bank, she specializes in financial institutions and high-level client relationships. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and International Business from Florida International University. Her expertise spans banking operations, consultative sales, SaaS solutions, and C-suite relationship management, making her a dynamic leader in the financial sector.
